Hope you are doing well!
I’m reaching out because our BELL Little League Softball team are the 2026 District 11 Champions and have earned a berth at the State Tournament to be held in Chehalis, WA beginning July 5. We are incredibly proud of this achievement as it is a direct result of our hard work and dedication.
Please consider this from our league President:
We have been blessed with a large pool of talented and dedicated players, coaches, and families here in Burlington Edison Little League that has led to several successful teams earning berths in Washington State Tournaments and beyond. Unfortunately, as they progress toward their goals of higher achievement, the costs to families become burdensome. Any help given to defray some of the burden is appreciated.
We at Burlington Edison Little League want our athletes to be able to focus on what brought them the level of success, and that is more baseball/softball practice. We don't want them to be distracted with fundraising activities. We don't like to have our kids selling sometimes overpriced items or spending time on activities such as car washes, as these take time away from the practices that will give them the best chances of success as, with each higher level. the competition becomes greater.
To that end we have put together this "Donation" opportunity to allow each participant to send this brief email to family and friends seeking whatever assistance you would like to give. Other than the typical transaction fees of a merchant account 100% of the revenues donated will be designated to defray the costs associated with the tournament, to include travel, lodging, food, etc.
